Workbooks

The same skills, worked through at home

Self-paced workbooks for doing at home, in whatever order and at whatever pace suits. No class, no schedule, no start date. Four subjects at three levels, plus five systems you set up once and use for months.

How it works

Download, print, start

1

Buy and download

Checkout takes a minute and the file arrives by email straight away. Nothing ships and nothing is waited for.

2

Print at home

Standard letter size, designed to print clearly in black and white so you are not burning through colour ink.

3

Do it whenever

Ten parts, each about 45 minutes. Do one on a rainy Sunday, three in a row over a holiday, or one a month. Nothing expires and nothing is missed.

The workbooks

Choose your level

Each subject comes as three separate books so the level actually fits the child. Choose one, or take the bundle and cover siblings at different ages.

Explorers

Kindergarten to grade 2

Eight short adventures, mostly drawing. Almost no writing, because they are still learning how. A grown up reads each page out loud, and there is a box on every page to write down what the child said about their drawing.

Juniors

Grades 3 to 5

Ten sessions from an annoying problem to a business pitched to the family. Simple pricing, a hand drawn logo, and plenty of structure to follow.

Seniors

Grades 6 to 8

The same ten sessions, pitched harder. More independent work, more to defend, and reflection questions that expect a real answer rather than a tidy one.

Start Your First Business

Find a problem, invent a business, work out what to charge, name it, and pitch it. Ends with a pitch your child presents to you.

Questions

Before you buy

Which level should I choose?

Go by grade first. If your child sits on a boundary, the deciding question is how much they can write independently. Explorers asks for almost no writing at all. Juniors asks for short sentences. Seniors asks them to work with numbers and defend their reasoning.

Do I need to have taken a course?

No, and most people who buy these have not. They are written to stand completely alone, with more guidance for the adult since there is no instructor in the room.

How much do I need to be involved?

For Explorers you read every page out loud and do any writing, so plan to sit with them throughout. For Juniors, expect to sit alongside for most of a part. For Seniors, most students work through a part on their own and then talk it over with you afterwards. You do not need to know the subject.

My child is too young for an AI account. Can they still do the AI workbook?

Yes, and the workbook is written on that assumption. Every well known AI tool sets a minimum age of at least 13, so most students using these books cannot have their own account. The setup guide at the front explains the age rules for each tool, names two that run in a browser with no account at all, and shows how to run the whole book with an adult at the keyboard. There is also a note on which parts work with no AI tool whatsoever.

Do I have to print it?

No. The writing areas are proper boxes and lines, so it works on a tablet with a stylus or any PDF annotation app. If you do print, it is designed for plain black and white on standard letter paper, so it will not drain a colour cartridge.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes, as many times as you like for children in your own household. The licence covers one family. If you are a teacher wanting to use it with a class, get in touch and we will sort out a classroom licence.

Can I get a refund?

Because these are instant downloads we cannot take them back, so refunds are not offered as standard. If something is wrong with the file or it is not what was described, email us and we will make it right.

How is this different from the live course?

The workbooks are built for home. No schedule, no start date and no cohort, so you can put one down for a month and pick it up again. The live course covers similar ground but is a different thing: a fixed group meeting weekly from October 2026, feedback on your child's work each time, other students to test ideas on, and a real audience at the end. From $379. Plenty of families do both.

Would a live class suit them too?

Ten live classes with other students, feedback each week, and a presentation at the end. From $379. First cohorts start October 2026.
