Who it suits

Is this the right course?

1

Kids who cannot start

Students who sit down to work and somehow forty minutes have gone. Real time goes on the first two minutes of a task.

2

Kids who worry beforehand

Students who go blank before a test or a presentation and want something practical to do about it.

3

Kids losing time to screens

Students old enough to notice their attention is being pulled, and interested in doing something about it.

What it covers

Across ten classes

Every class is hands on. Students make, test and present something live rather than sitting through a lesson. Social and emotional skills are built into how classes run: listening, giving feedback kindly, handling nerves, and making decisions they can explain.

Noticing what pulls your attention
Getting started on hard things
Working in focused stretches
Setting up a space that helps
Resetting quickly under pressure
Noticing how you work best
Building routines that actually stick

Two levels

The same course, pitched for the age

Both levels run a full hour. What changes is the depth, the support, and what students hand in at the end.

Juniors · Grades 3 to 5

Getting started and settling down

Concrete and playful. Techniques are tried as short activities in class, and students track what worked in their own words rather than being told what should help.

Seniors · Grades 6 to 8

Attention under pressure

Aimed at students facing real workload. Study routines, phone habits and pre test nerves, with peer discussion about what genuinely works.

Oct
2026

The first cohorts start in October 2026. Times are set once we know who is joining, so tell us which evenings or weekend mornings suit and we will match your child to a cohort. Discounts available for siblings, friends enrolling together, and a second course in the same term.

What a class feels like

Students try techniques on themselves and keep the ones that work. Nothing is handed down as a rule to follow, which is exactly why they stick with it afterwards.

Between classes

No worksheets. Students get one short activity challenge each week, usually around twenty minutes, and bring the result back to share with the group.

Anything needed is a simple household item, and we tell you in advance. There is nothing to buy.
